Over the first 10 years our products were
hardly ever sold directly to the consumer and our name was
never seen on the packages.
But, like all talented members of a chorus
line, we had a dream of taking centre stage, one day.

The paint factory that entered the limelight.
Landora Färgindustri commenced trading
some 27 years ago. The founders came from companies specialising
in producing technically sophisticated paint products. So,
it followed that Landora came to focus on producing highly
specialised products.
Paint for swimming pools, original linseed-oil
paint products and other sorts of paints, which were particularly
difficult to produce and required exceptional technical know
how, formed the basis for Landoras product range. So, a strong
focus on product development, long-term testing and quality
certification has over the years become the very foundation
for the Landora policy.

We had this idea.
Painting should become easier, more user friendly.
We wanted to simplify the act of painting. We asked ourselves....
Firstly: With high quality, user-friendly
products, surely anyone can paint their house, inside or outside?
Secondly: Do people really need 5000
colours to choose from? Or does it lead to indecisiveness
and to disappointment, because the final result of a decision
in the shop based on a tiny colour sample does not match the
expected outcome?
Thirdly: Why do the product names have
to be so technical and non informative? And why are the instructions
on the tins so complicated?
